Interactive exhibit project for the exhibition “L’architettura del mondo”

Global Nodes, is an interactive exhibit project for the exhibition “L’architettura del mondo” (World’s Architecture) regarding worldwide great infrastructures. The exhibit, positioned at the end of the exhibition’s itinerary, is the digital representation of the ever growing, central, but often invisible, role of digital data and networks, and their fundamental function for connecting, sometimes even physically, one place to another.

The software is the visualization of the basic algorithms of the most common network models, therefore focusing the attention on invisible infrastructural systems.
The visualization of the networks had a strong analogy with a plant’s texture, reproduced by a second projector.
The exhibit wanted to be the digital visualisation, of the more and more primary role of data within a network.
